BEANIE BABIES

Doodle the Rooster

Doodle, Style #4171, date of birth: 03/08/96, was introduced with 13 other adorable Beanies on Mother's Day, May 11, 1997. He was a little slow hitting the store shelves but he did arrive and has always been in big demand. Actually, you haven't seen anything yet!! The demand is really going to escalate because our little tie-dye rooster is going to have a name change to Strut.

Once again a legal department is attacking our hero, Mr. Ty Warner and his magical creations!! A restaurant chain in Atlanta, Georgia named Chick-Fil-A has a rooster mascot that resembles Doodle and is spelled DOODLES! Although their mascot has arms and hands and a different type of beak and wears pants and gloves doesn't matter. I guess the lawyers have nothing better to do so they decided to go after the most successful toy genius in history! It has been rumored and has happened before with Tabasco, Sparky and Garcia. The Beanie fans don't really care. We have faith in the Ty Company. We all love Snort, Dotty and Peace too!! (0:

If you have not found Doodle, try to find him before the name is changed!!

His price is going to go up quickly on the secondary market!!

Here is Doodle's and Strut's poem:

Listen closely to "cock-a-doodle-doo"
What's the rooster saying to you?
Hurry, wake up sleepy head
We have lots to do. Get out of bed!!
