Freckles the Leopard, style # 4066, was introduced in mid 1996, with the fourth generation Ty (poem) tag. Unlike the large wild cats of Africa and Asia he is a member of our beloved Beanie Family of cuddly soft plush fabric. There have been unusual changes with our tawny black spotted friend. He originally arrived with a birth date of July 28, 1996 and for some reason the later and more current Freckles have a birth date of June 3, 1996!!

Freckles' spotted pelts are being noticed as being fuzzy and also with well defined freckles ! In the 1997 Ty Catalog he appears to have the fuzzy look to him. When you are out Beanie Shopping, check out the Freckles and see if you notice the variety of pelts he is wearing!!!
